FINTASTIC NIGHT GIGGING IS A TRUE "FLORIDA CRACKER" EXPERIENCE!
Trips include Ozello, Crystal River, Homosassa, and the Gulf of Mexico.
Anything can happen while slowly working our way around mangroves and oyster bars with lights looking for the perfect target. This is a four hour long gigging trip that allows you to fish in a primitive and exciting way! If you have never gone gigging before, you will be an addict by the end of the trip. We can harvest many types of saltwater fish on these trips including mullet, sheepshead, flounder and many more. Each species presents their own challenges.
Every summer along the Gulf Coast we move into what many call the ‘misery months.’ That’s when the temperatures get so hot, that to catch a few fish, we may have to endure the scorching heat. Well, for some outdoor enthusiasts, they just switch gears and go nocturnal. After the sun goes down and the temperatures recede, many anglers hit the waters to go gigging. With a light breeze as Mother Nature’s air conditioner, gigger’s are content! Winter gigging enthusiasts just bundle up and search for the abundance of fish that call our estuaries home for the colder months!
Hundreds of creatures will be exposed by the lights, making the experience a great one for youngsters or newcomers. Small finfish, crabs or shrimp will catch the eye of most folks, but especially the fish near mangrove islands searching for food.
If you are looking for a true Florida Cracker nighttime activity, then you have found it! Our Captains are locals with an extensive knowledge of the back country and will provide memories to last a lifetime!
- All gigging supplies and licenses will be provided.
- Feel free to bring any food or drink you prefer along with you as well as insect repellent and a light jacket due to this being a night activity.
- Pricing increases with participants starting after a base price of $450 for one to three participants.

Tours are subject to current weather conditions and tides. Our guests safety is our number one priority! Cancellation Policy Reservations cancelled within five calendar days of Tour or Charter arrival date will receive a full refund less the booking fee of 5%. Any Tour or Charter cancelled by Ms Fins Oarhouse or Captains due to inclement weather or other conditions beyond our control shall receive a 100% refund. Reservations cancelled less than the time period or conditions outlined above will be offered a chance to reschedule (based on availability) or receive a voucher for the Tour or Charter for the full amount paid. Vouchers have no expiration and may be used towards any Tour or Charter.
